Parting Party depicts a birthday party in an eerie atmosphere, with faceless people. It initially appears as a static photograph but transforms into moving images when the viewer brings a lit candle close to an unlit one on the table. This work reminds the audience  to cherish their lives and the people around them as time is fleeting. The candles symbolize memories and the passage of time, while the faceless individuals represent the notion that they could be anyone.
